2018 EDITION
In the year 2018, the first edition of Eurobot Junior Spain was held.
On November 3, 2017, coinciding with the final of Tubot (educational project of the University of Alcalá) the rules of Eurobot Junior were presented to the participating teams. Since then, 10 educational centers in the Community of Madrid and Guadalajara have been working on the different designs to address the tasks they had to perform.
Eurobot Jr Spain - March 5, 2018
The competition of Robot Cities 2018 took place at the Superior Polytechnic School of the University of Alcalá on March 5, 2018.
Girls and boys from different institutes showed the robots they had created in order to develop the tasks proposed in this competition.
At the beginning, the relevant approvals were made that allowed each team to compete.
Finally the competition took place, living moments of high emotion, since until the last moment it was not known who could be the winner.
Despite the enthusiasm put on the part of the teachers and students, Eurobot Junior Spain 2018 competition presented only the following centers, whose classification in the competition was as follows:
Clasification:
1st - Colegio Giovanni Antonio Farina (Azuqueca de Henares)
2nd - IES Arcipreste de Hita (Azuqueca de Henares)
3nd - IES Antonio Machado (Alcalá de Henares)

Awards

Following the indications of the Eurobot International Association for participating in the Eurobot Spanish Classification, no economic prizes are awarded, so travel assistance was offered for the two teams chosen to participate in the Eurobot Jr. final and prizes in kind.

For the first, second and third place, a participation diploma was always provided.
Eurobot Jr - June 9 and 10, 2018
The Eurobot Junior competition was held in Paris on June 9 and 10, 2018. Representatives from Spain attended the Giovanni Antonio Farina School (with 11 students) and the IES Arcipreste de Hita (with 6 students).
The two teams passed the qualifying tests and although there were no winners, they had a great time!
